Optimists Curl BC Ticket Raffle: 2020 – 2021

Draw Date: Saturday, April 03, 2021 after 9:30 PM in New Westminster with an independent volunteer upstairs in the Royal City Curling Club.

 

Tickets Sold Online: 832 of 2,000 for Optimists Curl BC U12 Blizzard and U15-U21 Passion Curling Programs.

 

Eleven Prizes: 1 x $5,000 plus 10 x $500 = $10,000

YOG/U18 Junior clinic

Granite Curling Club in Seattle is hosting a Junior Clinic on September 20-22nd  to provide an opportunity for kids competing in U18 events to get some early practice ice.

The USA Youth Olympic Game trials are in early October and we have several team competing and would like to give them some competitive practice before this event.

I’ve attached a flyer with details of the spiel. There is NO COST for the teams to attend — all expenses will be covered by GCC’s Junior Program.  Registration deadline is 9/8. 

We would appreciate any help you can give in getting this out to your competitive juniors.

NOTE: I contacted Lisa about younger teams that will be competing in the BC Winter Games playdowns  and she was agreeable. She is hoping that the teams attending are competitive, so those teams should also be a good fit.  – Darren Kent
